This image is of a traditional cut roof,
Modern Truss Roofs are quick and easy to fit and but sometimes costly. Sometimes traditional is the only solution.
This is a photo of a floor that has been removed for sound insulation to be installed. The void was filled with fibreglass acoustic material, soft joist caps were added to the joists and a floating floor fitted over the top.
Many old buildings do not meet modern fire, sound, and heat loss regulations.
Some jobs are an absolute pleasure, this is a parquet solid oak wooden floor.
These two photos are of a repair that was made to a staircase. This house was being renovated and the wall string was rotten due to damp. I cut the wall string and spliced in a new section of string, saving the costly replacement of the staircase.
